My absolute favorite was "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. I read it so often that its binding and pages fell apart. :)
Black Beauty, Pippi Longstocking, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cherry Ames books. Anne of Green Gables, and All Creatures Great and Small. I also loved Encyclopedia Brown books. Does anyone here know where I could get some of the Cherry Ames books? My name is Judy LeFavour, my address is 68 Elm Street, Rensselaer, NY 12144. Please let me know. Thank you for your consideration.
I used to read the Cherry Ames books judylefavour. I haven't seen them in quite a while. Have you checked Amazon.com? They might possibly have some used ones you could purchase. I will look and if they do will let you know.
I checked Amazon.com and they do have the Cherry Ames books. A lot of them are sold in sets but I think some are also sold individually. If I had any of them would be glad to mail to you, but I don't.
Hope you are able to buy those books. I get on Amazon and start looking at the books and can be on there for hours!!!!!!!! :)
I crochet, design jewelry with polymer clay and watercolor, needlepoint. I don't get to do a lot of those now due to lack of funds! What crafts do you enjoy??
Right now I am reading the last book by Rick Riordan---the Percy Jackson stuff---which I love even though I am now an adult. As a child I read the Little House on the Prairie books which I liked very much. And yes we loved Dr. Seuss when I was very young.
And yes crafts is a great topic too! I am wanting to make home-made Halloween cards. Bought the stuff to do it on the 2nd of October then forgot about it----lol.
