I an curious about the world and its people,Once lived in Brazil for 2 years.
I have never had any audio books except for one time. I bought Fried Green Tomatoes and had it on a cassette (yes I am that OLD - LOL) and listened to it as I walked on my treadmill. I have no idea where it is now though.
I agree with you, God Bless the library! So glad you found a way to read that works for you.
Interesting that you lived in Brazil..................what a fun experience!
Books on CD are great for travel. Each book I listened to reminds me of the road trip I was on while listening to it.
My husband once checked The New Testament out on CD and lost it. We think it fell off his desk into the waste can. He had to buy a new one.
I have books on CD checked from library downloaded to my cell phone. Very handy if you don't mind the earbuds.
It is good that you have found a way to enjoy books.
