To find inner peace, we need to look after our soul, as well as our bodies. Join this group if you want to share, and read tips on looking after our souls and feeling that inner calm
So it's normal to sleep at night and wake through the day, because thats what the majority of people do.
We eat at certain times a day to suit societys norms,
we walk around in clothes, bathe naked, work.
What if this isn't NATURAL to us? What if we want to eat through the night because that's when we get hungry, or sleep during the day because thats when we are tired. Does that mean we are insane because we do the opposite of societies norms? If things were the other way round would we then all be abnormal? or considered insane?
Things they call sane or insane is a crock of shit
I think according to the jack asses that make up these types of rules, both are one in the same. We are damned if we do and damned if we don't.

Very good point, Quirkygirl. Just because something happens to the majority doesn't make it law. For example, I'm gay. The majority of people aren't, but that doesn't make it wrong. :) I think if being awake during the night feels natural, then embrace it. Make it work for you. Our bodies will tell us what it needs. My girlfriend works overnights and even though she's been doing it for 10 years, on her days off her body naturally reverts back to a daytime schedule because that's natural for her. We can try to bend ourselves only so far, our bodies will continue to rebel until we accept our nature. :)
Hundreds of years ago, people slept for a few hours right after sunset, woke up and spent a few hours having sex, reading or eating, then went back to sleep until sunrise. Our bodies apparently want to wake up in the middle of the night, but years of conditioning has tried to subdue that urge.
Many times popular biases are assumed as normal or real but irony is true at many places. In one group known as YOGA HEALING here, we usually move around the idea that, popular truths are tailor made by social, political and educational biases.
