There's videos on YouTube about laser treatment which look both interesting and questionable at the same time. There's also an operation where they drain the gel out of your eye and refill it with saline, but it has complications. I didn't think there was any fix at all, but there is two real options. I never read anything that convinced me that pills / vitamins can make them go away.
I am amazed that doctors can actually video record what floaters look like. Now I can show other people exactly what I gets in my vision every time I'm tired our out in the light. Mostly I just try to avoid the sun and blank white walls.
My doctor said while some floaters can be serious most are not. I've heard that vitamin A can help but you have to becareful because of the ease of overdose.
i've been registed as blind since the age of 6 as I have suffered from Uveitus and detached retinas and hemmoraging.
I have experienced floaters for many years now and i have never known of a cure for them however i have picked up a couple of little tips that tend to help a bit. I recognized that i got them most and worst when my eyes are going through changes in light. Whether this being looking at a computer screen, tv or something as simple as coming from out in the sun into shade. My suggestion would be buying a pair of sun glasses. Might sound quite simple but it does prove quite effective for me. I can't promise it will work for you but might be worth a try :).
I also agree that you should get your eyes checked though just to be on the safe side.
Best of luck mate.

As for the floaters, they are one of those things that could be nothing and could be something, if that makes any sense. It never hurts to get them checked out. Good luck to you!
