I am a sophomore at Northern Arizona University the reason why I joined this site was for a class but I think that I will get a lot out of it. One thing that I would like to discuss is my visual impairment and how to deal with it. I can not really talk to my friends because they cant really relate. None of my friends understand what it feel like to be a person with a disability and try and go through college normally. I guess what I really want to get out of this is a sense of belonging
If anyone else is interested I'd be willing to make up a site dedicated to us blind/low vision folks that would be way cooler than any of those deaf peoples sites!!!
i help to run a site for those with one eye, facing the loss off an eye, or anyone affected therein. We also welcome those with other vision issues.
We may be aimed at monocular people, but do not let that drive you away from our great (and rapdily growing) community.
