Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and/or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of both their own and the opposite gender or sex. Most bisexuals are not equally attracted to men and women, and may even shift between states of finding either sex exclusively attractive over the course of time.
Well, i have never been in a relationship before, just flings , but there is this guy who seems to be interested in me and i really like him even though we just met. I just wanted to know if i should tell him right away that i am bisexual or if i should wait. i am a bit of activist when it comes to bisexuality but i don't fancy telling many people in my school because high school is full of bullies (or so i have heard). But being honest to the guy in school is important because you don't want to get into something too deep and then get crushed , i am confused what should i do? Note i have told a fling that i am bisexual in the past and he said he did not mind but we stopped dating shortly afterwards ...
I am an adult and am older and I find that things always get spread around really fast and in high school, it may not be a good idea to tell your secrets before you know him well and even then it might not be good.
I knew a guy for a couple of years and I was tempted to tell him that I was gay or at least more interested in women but our friendship ended when he became verbally abusive and I had to end it. It was not sexual but he wanted a relationship. I am REALLY GLAD that I didn't tell him that I was interested in women. And now I wonder who I am interested in because right now I like men more. So it is a weird thing how bi works. Sometimes you are convinced it is men and sometimes it is women, but it will change depending on the persons you are with.
Just be careful who you tell it to. When you tell it to other women who are gay, they stay away from you unless they are a bi too. So just be careful.
