Bisexuality Support Group
Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and/or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of both their own and the opposite gender or sex. Most bisexuals are not equally attracted to men and women, and may even shift between states of finding either sex exclusively attractive over the course of time.

I'm new to Daily Strength and I'm very glad to have found it and this community. I realized that I was bisexual in college, but just recently started feeling comfortable telling friends. I'm looking forward to having some support.

I don't know how to get past the stereotypes of being bisexual. I know in my heart life isn't black or white, but, I still fill confused..My boyfriend wants me to love myself for who Iam,but, down deep I still struggle. I was dating women only for about 4 years and then Imet my bf and fell in love, we have been together over 4 years. I got a lot of negative feedback from my gay friends..I was also raised to believe being gay or bi is wrong..i am mainly attracted to women, but, it's changed to liking both...My bf is such a great guy,but I need to work on accepting myself..Any advice or similar experiences.....The gay/straight community is very against bisexuality....it's sad

This is to spinalone5,,,,damn you are so right on the money with not being accepted by just about anyone other than bi's.People say we just want the best of both worlds, and expect a bigger explanation for who exactly we are..Now I say Bite me or Fuck you...(only so deep cuz its been way too long, that I have felt inadequate) if you dont wake up next to me , I have nothing to explain. Living on LIsland , you can take a ferry over to a place called Cherry Grove....it is a beautiful little Gay Island , where pretty much anything goes....anything....straight people think I am gay, gay people think I am straight...Being Bi...is more common I think than peeople will admit...I know I am a good person, what I do with my intimate life is my own business...(and my husbands)...we kinda live not such a standard suburban life...but it works for us....(he minds his business, and I never sleep with another man..) Sounds Krazy Right????????????????

I am very happy that this community exists. I am ok with the fact that I am bisexual. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for everyone else. I just came out to my best friend of 15 years and she replied by telling me that I'm going to hell and that I should be ashamed of myself. Not the response I was looking for. We didn't speak for two months until recently. It really hurt me. I am not trying to change anyone. I just want to be accepted.
