I told my mom that I didn't want to tell my dad. So she told him for me. And then made me tell him again. What was the point of that? I would've rather you just come with you to tell him then make him listen to this twice.

Anyway, I told him I was bi and he's like "how do you know? You've never been in a relationship." My oldest sister has never been in a relationship, and she's running around looking for boys. You knew you liked girls when you were 12. And it's pretty damn safe to say to say that I knew that I was bi when I was the same age. (All this happened after therapy so... sorry)

He then goes: "you've never had sex. A girl could pressure you into having sex." That could happen in any relationship. And he's only focussing on girls... because I'm a girl... just letting the world know for context...

And he thought I chose this last night on a whim: "I think you've had bad experiences with high school boys" (I've dealt with sexual harassment in the past...by not just high school boys btw) "so you chose this, but you just haven't given men a chance." Did you not understand me when I said I was into girls AND guys?

He also asked me if I was a lesbian. If I was a lesbian we would be having a very different conversation right now.

Then he brings up my favorite comment: "well if you like girls and boys" -- because he's at least accepted that at this point-- "why don't you just date boys?" Yeah... why don't you just normal? What? Maybe one day I won't want to. That's why.
