Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and/or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of both their own and the opposite gender or sex. Most bisexuals are not equally attracted to men and women, and may even shift between states of finding either sex exclusively attractive over the course of time.

What is everyone's experience with Christianity and bisexuality. I'm a Christian and I'm like 90% I'm bi. My parents say it's a sin so I haven't told them yet. I'm just pretty confused.

I'm christian as well. But I'm pretty sure I'm BI cuz I'm really attracted to men but also very much to woman and I don't find pleasure in sex with a man..ive never experienced anything with a woman though.... how do you feel about it?

I understand. I'm in the same situation. I've come to the conclusion that the best thing is to respect ur parents and don't act on the feelings until u move out. U need to make them see that acting and feeling are two different things. U can't help feeling attracted to but u can help what actions u take. I've decided not to act on my feelings until I move out out of respect for my parents but it's not going to stop me from feeling the way I feel

I feel like if you don't enjoy sex with men but are still attracted to them then that's fine! I'm not sure exactly what your question is but if it's about labels I would say just whatever label you feel most comfortable with. I honestly believe that god made us this way and therefore is not going to send us to hell for it.

Yeah that's really good advice, I'm just turning 17 so it won't be too much longer until I'm able to move out. Thank you!!

Well its not your parents lives. They think bisexuality is bad then I guess its good for them they aren't bisexual they dont have to do anything that they may consider a sin when it comes to bisexuality. But its your life your choice and your beliefs matter most when it comes to your own preferences

Lauri has excellent advice, you shouldn't worry about what they think and do you once you move out. You do not have to tell them but you can let them find out for themselves. What I am about to say doesn't answer your question but it might make you feel a bit better. What many Christians forget is that the bible was written and rewritten hundreds of times by people with very old views. Also, verses homophones point to are actually referring to prostitution, child abuse, and slavery. In fact Jesus himself never mentioned homosexuality once!! Jesus also said that we are not bound by the old laws anymore. Regardless though, you are made in Gods image. Never forget that. God made you the way you are and if you are bi he is the one who made you that way. If you come under attack by your parents or other Christians let them know these things. If you do your research you can give evidence too. Again not answering your question but I want you to know that.
