Bisexuality Support Group
Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and/or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of both their own and the opposite gender or sex. Most bisexuals are not equally attracted to men and women, and may even shift between states of finding either sex exclusively attractive over the course of time.

Okay so I've known I was bi since I was 14 but I thought it was a phase until a few months ago and now I know for sure. I've only lately found the courage to begin telling the people around me and they've all been great about it, but I'm getting really really confused. I'm going from staright to gay and back to straight really really quickly and its getting to the point where I can't decide which I am. Is this totally normal? I don't have any bi friends so I find it difficult to talk to anytone about it help someone?

I don't understand "straight to gay" and vice versa--am equally attracted to both genders at all times. Have never felt straight OR gay...

Hi I have times when I am attracted to one sex so much more than the other that it seems like i am gay or straight but I am still Bi and it sounds like that is what is happening to you it is normal for a Bi person. Don't worry I can see how that is confusing. It is kinda like one part of your sexual attraction is highlighted or in the spot light forgetting about the other half of you , That means that you can be in a straight relationship or a gay one and they both feel right to you like you belong there right. Well that is because you do fit into both the straight and gay world sometimes you might feel like you don't fit into either world gay or straight . I went through that feeling weird not knowing weither I was straight or gay now i know I am always Bi I just didn't know it . It took me a while to accept myself the way I am. You are not alone you can always talk to me just send me a message or a friend request.

In general being bi is confusing and it is hard to feel part of either side, that is what we are here for :-). Any ways I am wondering if for you right now it might be helpful to stray away from a label and just be, whatever happens happens and whatever you feel you feel. The label is not so important, there may be times in your life it is but if it causing stress than set it aside. Some people are now doing this by identifying as queer. Whatever helps you be at peace.... Love is love do what you feel, follow your heart. The more you try to fit yourself in a box the less time you are spending living your life. That is after all how you discover who you are :-) hugs...

It sounds like you're a bit confused, and that's normal! Many people, including myself and some people I have talked to, go through these feelings when they are trying to understand their sexuality. You don't have to rush into the labels if you don't feel ready. Be yourself and have pride; that's what's important! My suspicion is you're leaning towards bisexual if you feel for both sexes. However, as I have learned, sexuality is not a set of rigid definitions, but a spectrum that everyone finds themself on at a unique place. For now, have fun and be yourself and love will come your way! Message me if you want to talk! :)
