Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and/or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of both their own and the opposite gender or sex. Most bisexuals are not equally attracted to men and women, and may even shift between states of finding either sex exclusively attractive over the course of time.
Lately I haven't been on this site. I've been avoiding it simply because I felt it was a crutch that I didn't need but depended on like a drug.
I'm having an issue though that I can't seem to figure out on my own... I've been in my first lesbian relationship for about 2 1/2 months. Everything is great, except that my woman doesn't really seem like she's moving on with her life. She's 23 and works at a movie theater and lives at home with her Mother and disabled Aunt.
When she graduated from High School, despite the various scholarships she had for Graphic Design her mother refused to allow her to go to College. Now she barely has motivation to go, and has horrible anxiety when the topic is brought up. We've talked about it several times and although she says she would eventually start the process I can't really trust her emotions to follow up with her words.
I'm very attached to her but I'm afraid to have deeper feelings for someone who doesn't have goals for themself.
I also haven't come out to my family and I know the first thing they would ask is what my partner has going for themselves.
Anyone have any prior exeprience with this type of situation or any advice at all??

I've been with my partner now for 8 years and he STILL struggles...although he has made exceptional progress.
The thing about relationships is they need to stand the test of time to be satisfying...but in order to do that they need a strong foundation and lots of time/care put into building them. Rome wasn't built in a day, afterall. Nothing good is. It all takes time, love, patience...
However, this problem of hers WILL be long-term and though she will probably conquer it with enough love/support it will take a longer time then a few weeks.
Thus its a Price to pay...if you can't afford that price for whatever reason its best to bow out so someone can come along who can...There's no shame in that--just a matter of compatibility. If you really can't bear that she's goign to struggle with confidence, employment, and procrastination issues then maybe she isn't the right girl for you...
On the other hand if she makes you a better person, adds to your life in any positive way, or fills you with lots of love...I say reconsider. You might have a lot to learn by fostering someone who needs some tender care...

*And yea, I'm glad you're still on here. I was afraid you wouldn't be. I'm going to try and view this site as something positive from now on versus something negative. That way it won't bother me when I sign on.
