Monogomy vs bisexuality

I am in a loving relationship of 4 years with my oh so very straight partner. Our relationship is never a thing I would want to compromise. Before we got together he knew of my 'orientation' (although I identify as a pansexual more so then bi). Because of both of our pasts we both really struggle with the idea of 3 sums or sharing each other in any way. But I'm finding my urges to be with women almost unbearable as I am getting to my 'thirsty 30's' of sexual peakedness. Is anyone else in a situation where they are monogamous but feeling this battle too? Any advice for me? How have you handled the situation? Over the last year I've found myself irresistibly attracted to a girl that I see all the time and I cant get her out of my mind. Although I have committed to staying true to my other half, he has noticed it in me. I know it hurts him to think he isn't enough and as much as I try to explain it. And I cant figure out how to make the feelings die down.

Would he let you get a lap dance while he watched? That way, you can both be part of an experience and it might help him get used to the idea.

But, my unchecked urges usually bring nothing but trouble. Be careful!

It is definitely possible to be monogamous and bisexual, I was with my last two major partners (male and female). The thing is, it really helps to have gotten all of your experimentation and wild oats sewing and fantasies out in your 20s so you can settle down with the right person when the time is right.

Im struggling with this too. Can't shake the cravings. Supposed to get married soon and i dont want to ruin things with my fianc.

Yes! Thank you for posting this, I'm sure several people can relate. I was JUST about to ask for similar advice.

I love my straight male partner very much but lately feel a very strong desire to be with other women. I don't want to hurt him, but I also feel a need to tell him the truth about how I'm feeling. I am seriously conflicted just like you.

I'm not sure if I'm in a position to give you advice, because I haven't resolved this issue. However, for myself, I feel that if these feelings are so overwhelming that they consume me, I should tell him how I'm feeling and ask if he's ok with me dating women temporarily (open relationship). I think it's important to be open and honest with your partner and to always let them know you love them.

What do you guys think of this advice?? I'm hoping it helps you, cart86. Let us know how it goes.
