Bisexuality Support Group
Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and/or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of both their own and the opposite gender or sex. Most bisexuals are not equally attracted to men and women, and may even shift between states of finding either sex exclusively attractive over the course of time.
When I got to college some pieces to the puzzle started to come together and I met a lot of LOVELY religious people who accepted me just the way I was. My religious views have changed a bit, but I know I have a community of kind people in my life.
Some people say they "always knew" they were gay, but for most of us it's a long process. I think that's especially true for bisexuals. I remember thinking, "I'm not gay, I have a boyfriend!" but the reality was "I have a boyfriend and maybe someday I'll have a girlfriend!".
It's possible to be physically attracted to both men and women, but only be romantically attracted to one. Its' possible to have a one-time attraction to the opposite sex, and then never feel that attraction again. It's possible to be a full on bisexual or pansexual and be attracted to many different types of people!
My advice would be don't rush yourself into a label. There are a lot of different people in this world and as long as you are kind to others then we should all be happy you're a part of it. :)
Of all the people you love, be sure to love yourself.
I have struggled with this since my adolencent youth, I was seduced by an older make cousin, it did confuse me at first. But as I got older I realize it is really up me to decide on this direction or not. I do have some experience with men that I have to admit has not been so terrible, but rather very enjoyable. But still, you would be better off not going any further unless you are willing to accept the changes it can leave you with. Hope this helps, your friend always.
