Bisexuality Support Group
Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and/or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of both their own and the opposite gender or sex. Most bisexuals are not equally attracted to men and women, and may even shift between states of finding either sex exclusively attractive over the course of time.
A friend of my who is a lesbian was having problems with our new pastor. She knew that he was someone who is against gays but still cared for the people. She wasn't sure if she was going stay with the church or not because she wasn't sure how he was going to react. Unlike me she was out about her sexuality and didn't really care what people think. But she was still scared since this was the first church that accepted her and now may not because of the new pastor.
So to help her with what she was dealing and to assure her that she was not alone I let her in on my little secret of me being a bi. I didn't think for one min. that she would tell anyone about it because she to at one time was in my position. I had told her how hard it is for me to hide be who I am but that unlike her I have to because the United Methodist don't allow practicing gays to be pastors. And I also told her about how my family would react if they found out. So I myself was a scared person but for a slightly different reason.
About 2 months after this conversation I was talking to a friend who thought that I had the same views on gays as she did. I don't and never will being a bi myself. I had tried to explain my view to her but had a hard time with out revealing my secret. So having trusted her before with many of my other secrets I looked at here and said, "I am going to tell you something that I have only told a very few people. So please keep this to yourself." Her reaction was not one that I ever thought in a million years I would here. She looked and me and said, "I think I already know what you are going to say." I was in shock and disbelief she couldn't know. How would she? So I asked her to tell me what she thought I was going to say and her answer was, "that you are bi." When I asked her how she new she told me that our other friend who I was trying to help told her.
This friend of ours was talking to the other and said that I had told her that I was bi but that she didn't believe me she thought that I had only told her to make her feel better. Yes I told her to help make her feel better, but I was telling the truth. Even if I wasn't it was something that I had entrusted her with and she went and told another one of our friends. She had no right to go and tell them that I was bi. When and if I want to come out to someone that is for me to decided and not her or anyone else. Right not I feel hurt and betrayed by her and I can't really do anything about it because if I do it just make things that much worse for me.

This will give her a chance to take ownership of her "mistake". Hopefully it was a mistake. Don't say anything about it not being a mistake, but keep in mind that she may be someone you can't trust. Give her a chance to earn your trust back, but don't let her get behind you with a knife anytime soon.
That's your choices, they both have their pro's and con's. It appears that no real harm has been done. At least no one else has said anything, no one has disowned you at this point. So even though you have every right to be upset and hurt, don't take it too seriously.
