Bisexuality Support Group
Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and/or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of both their own and the opposite gender or sex. Most bisexuals are not equally attracted to men and women, and may even shift between states of finding either sex exclusively attractive over the course of time.

Being a person who is trying to become a pastor in a denomination that does not yet accept the gay community I have a hard time finding people to talk to about who I am. I want to be able to talk to a person face to face about my sexuality so that maybe one day I can accept me. But the problem is I don't know who is safe to talk to. If I talk to another pastor I risk the possibility of me not being ordained. I don't know anyone else who is going through this in my area besides me. Most of the people around her are who are out don't believe in God or want nothing to do with the church. I can't blame them for not wanting to be part of something that seems to not accept them. Not to put you guys down its nice to be able to post my thought on here but at the same time I want someone that I can look in the eye as well. But again I face that can I trust them question. So how do I know that I can trust someone with my secret?

Hello Guycountry. I read your post and I know where you are coming from. I live in Texas so I really can't meet with you. But you really need to finds someone that is also bi/gay man to help you understand yourself. I am a Bi man that has already established a heterosexual life. At least right now that is were I have to be. I am married with children. I also am a man of GOD. So it has been extremely difficult for me. I have fought my gay feelings my whole life. I realize now that it was a losing battle. I am who I am. I have accept now. To tell you the truth I am in the verge of just coming out and being who I am. When I told my best friend that I was bi, it was one of the best feelings I have ever experienced. It felt incredible just to tell someone. Luckily, my friend was accepting and understanding. He encouraged me to be who I am. This was not too long ago when I told him. I wish I told someone 20 years ago. I would have been a happier person. I don't know what my future will be but I do often think about how it would be just to be who the LORD made me to be. So again, you must fined someone to talk to you. Even if they just listened to you. You will feel better. Once you find the strength to be who you are, you will have the strength to over come the many obstacles that lie in your journey to true happiness. I denied myself of who I was for so long. I feel I am responsible for my family at least until they go their own way. Perhaps then I can be myself and be truly happy. Good Luck.

Thank you for the explanation of your pic. I just went on as if nothing at all. But I wonderred about that pic. It is not the homosexual feelings that constitute contradiction as a Christian. It is about whether one acts on them or not. And even if they do it does not constitute blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, the one and only unpardonable sin. None the less there can be concequences to acting out that are severe though have nothing to do with one's relationship with God.
