Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and/or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of both their own and the opposite gender or sex. Most bisexuals are not equally attracted to men and women, and may even shift between states of finding either sex exclusively attractive over the course of time.
Five months ago, I fell in love with a girl, and neither of us expected it.
However, through the entire relationship, she was adamant we remain hidden to everyone who knew her, and freaked out at the mere MENTION of the word "gay" or bisexual". As time went on, that wore between us, and her full schedule didn't help. She started devoting less and less time to me because she felt like I relied on her too heavily and it frightened her, I think, which I understand. She claimed she couldn't find the time to see me for two months, then started not responding to calls or texts for five days at a time. We broke up mutually two weeks ago, and it was painful but bearable.
Then yesterday I found out she went back to her ex boyfriend TWO DAYS after we broke up. They are now back together, publicly. It kills me mainly because she broke up with him the first time because she felt he was boring and that they lacked anything "special"...so why should that change? I think she's trying to prove to everyone-mostly, herself-that she really isn't gay.
it's so cliche, but she was my first love, and her going on with him and pretending I didn't exist makes me feel like I'm dying. I have no delusions of winning her back, she treated me very poorly and I wasn't happy.
I want to GET OVER IT and I don't know how. Several other awesome people (both guys and girls =p) are interested in me, and I just CAN'T feel a spark with them even though they are everything I'd want in a person. I'm still stuck on fucking AMELIA. Amelia this, Amelia that. I want her out of my damn head.
Sorry this dragged on so long...just wondering what you guy's first heartbreaks were like? and does it get better? Will I love again? They're stupid questions, I know, but they're real.

Give others a chance. While you may not like someone initially, if you get to know a person better, you may find the person to be compatible with yourself and build a wonderful relationship.
You don't have to forget your first love completely, just find a new love.
