Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and/or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of both their own and the opposite gender or sex. Most bisexuals are not equally attracted to men and women, and may even shift between states of finding either sex exclusively attractive over the course of time.
Ok, so I haven't really told a lot of ppl about my bisexuality but I may have told a couple of the wrong ppl b/c apparently the word has gotten around & ppl who don't like me go around saying that I'm either lying & just want attention or that I would do something indecent to someone if I am just b/c I am bi. This is ridiculous. I would never. approach or touch someone if they did not expressly say they wanted me to do it. I've noticed the way ppl have been treating me & it makes me a lil sad. They assume from the hearsay that I am exactly what these ppl say I am. Has anyone else ever had to deal with this?
I came out, and took the closet door off the hinges, there was no going back. I can't tell you just how ugly people can be, just how bad they can talk about you, when they don't even know you. Or have no basis for what they are saying, they are just afraid of who or what you are, with no reason for being afraid.
You just have to let it slide off your back, let it go in one ear and out the other. You know who you are, and the people that matter already know who you are. That is what is important. It's not what other people think, it's what you think, it's what those you care about think. Strangers don't matter, those people you only see sometimes don't matter.
Figure out who you are, figure out what you want from life, and from others, then go for that, and don't let what anyone else thinks, or says affect how you feel about yourself. Don't let what they say, have any effect on your attitude or outlook. When you learn how to do that, you will find that you can be happy no matter what else happens.
