Though my situation is not exactly the same...I know your worry. I myself am bisexual and am preparing for marriage. My future wife is aware of my past and of the struggles we will face together in the future. Before I proposed I told her that despite the other things I had done I chose her. Every time I am tempted to go another path or succumb to fantasies and desires I remind myself of that one choice. I don't know you and your situation has it's variations to mine. But I would propose this question...Who do you choose? Do you love your wife or some fantasy about men? I can tell you now that either path will be full of struggle and pain not only for you but for those in your life.

I guess you can say I am "bisexual" because I am a married man and have had intimacy with my wife; however, I have been actively sexual with guys since I was around 11 or 12 years old... you know, curiosity. The thing is that I have always preferred sex with men and I think it is more pleasurable now as I suffer from a sexual anxiety (not ED) with either gender and my interests is more in pleasing my partners than myself.

I have recently found a great guy that I have been "fooling around with" on the side and hate the double life but I don't want to hurt anyone so I keep my new situation a secret. It's very difficult to be stuck in a conflict and not want to hurt or be hurt but, believe me, you and I are NOT the only ones in our situation. Just reading through some of these old posts. It's like I'm reading about my own history!! I was in the same predicament as you guys up until a certain point. Had a gf and her parents loved me, both our parents were convinced we were going to be married one day. Even though inside me I knew I was attracted to men. I enjoyed kissing her but when I kissed my first guy there was fireworks in my head and I knew what I had to do. At the end of the day, it's my life. I live it to make myself happy and those around me. If that means I end up with a boyfriend not a girlfriend then that's fine. As long as you happy and living your life for yourself.
