there used to be more bisexual men (i myself am one) but for various reasons, they chose to leave DS

I don't think the "double standard" of guys being with other guys would be strong enough to discourage bisexual activity..identity is at stake after all

most bi men are on the down low and can never admit they are bi. They come up with these dumb games like, "Oh if I am the top and doing the fucking then I'm NOT gay". I dated two such guys who lied to me about their sexuality and fucked guys behind my back. And both, to this day, swear they are straight. They just never come out cause it is still gross for two guys to be together and just not as accepted as two women.

They do seem a bit rare to me...and not just online but offline. Then again I think it does have to do with the double standard thing, how men are raised in our society, etc etc
But there are plenty of bi women who aren't "out" either around here. And yeah Sweet is right there were more bi men on this board but they left recently for various reasons...hopefully we get a few more back in here soon chatting and such!

i think so but i find bi men to be fake imo because like reply #3 said always justify why they have sex with men and not admit they have an attraction for men whether they are bi or gay. i met 4 bi guys offline in the past they were all on the DL and wanted to look "normal" by dating/fucking women for the public's eye.

who cares what the public thinks! this is why ppl still can not think for themselves take a good look at the american media huh? one bi guy told me its gross to be with a guy but described to me every detail he did with a guy and how it felt great on him but gross to the guy he was doing it with.

I don't think there are few Bi men I think there are many that are in hiding who are afraid of the double standard. It seems that it is more acceptable in society for 2 women to be together than it is for 2 men to be together.I also think that the adult entertainment industry is more geared toward straight men and it is ok for 2 women to be together even if there is one guy in the film. I think people should be allowed to be who they are.

I think that there are many men who enjoy having sex with both sexes, but because of the stigma, they aren't open about their same-sex attractions.

It also gets sticky when you get into how a person defines their sexual orientation. I've met men who consider themselves straight since they have full-fledged sexual and romantic relationships only with women, but will have sex with men just for pleasure.

It sucks how the double standard and really machismo prevents bi males from being themselves! Boo!

im a bi male, and it really is hard to find others like me. i only know a few thats not in person, just on support sites and MMOs

I don't think that it is machismo that is the problem, it's ignorance and fear.

Ignorance; I have lived in some "redneck" areas and heard comments like "I don't wanna catch any gay disease that makes me suck d**k!"

Fear; Afraid of their own sexualtiy - I have seen a few of the "macho homophobes" years later and they came out as either Gay or Bi.

These are probably the exception to the rule, just my experiences.
