Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and/or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of both their own and the opposite gender or sex. Most bisexuals are not equally attracted to men and women, and may even shift between states of finding either sex exclusively attractive over the course of time.

I'm over forty and tired of trying to ignore my attraction to women. I'm in Atlanta and it seems really hard to meet women here. Any advice?

Ignore it all you want. Things will happen regardless of your plans or lack thereof, and surpressing what you feel will quite literally make you miserable. As for your difficulty finding women, not much you can do there unless you find a place that's frequented by LGBT people or search online.

These feelings won't go away. I know it can be hard to meet women, especially older women, especially older queer women who are tolerant of bisexuals even in big cities, but perhaps you can find some relief in reading queer books or participating in Internet communities.

Then perhaps, you never know, if you stay open to it the perfect woman could appear in your life. You never know. Just stay open to it.
