Anyone have blood suagr issues with this? My blood sugar last night was 369 and today was 347 that is high. Was wondering if anyone had roblems with this. I know this is one of the side effects i might have to go off it figuires i find something that works for my biplar manic eppisodes anf i have a reaction to it just my luck oweel have to call the doc I guess/

I haven't used zyprexa but talk to your doc and see what can be done.

Zyprexa has been know to cause diabetes early onset....with your blood sugars that high YIKES !
Call your Pdoc , he/she needs to know about the reaction you are having

I use Depakote to manage my manic episodes. I have been on Depakote for 4 years , and no manic episodes.

Yes, Depakote does have side effects, but it should not raise your blood sugars to such a dangerous level

As a former Registered Nurse, i would be concerned with your blood sugar spiking so high. I would say its the Zyprexa as it has done this to a diabetic friend of mine. He went off it and the BS Spikes stopped. Time to change medicine or get a standing order for insulin.
