I don't know how much more I can take. I haven't had any income sine November 13 th. I was supposed to start a job yesterday, but I was told that the start date is now the 7th. I don't know what I am going to do. I had to beg my landlord to use my security deposit for my December rent. I was going to BARELY make my rent as it was. I just don't know what I am going to do. I am terrified. The Holiday season makes it even worse. I am not in the spirit "commercially". I can't afford to do anything for anyone. All I want for Christmas is a decent job. I just don't know what to do. I am so depressed. I am really struggling emotionally. I keep thinking about the marina and the pier. It would be so easy to just say screw it and jump. I won't though. I want to, but I won't.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

I'm a landlord and I work with my tenants when financial issues arise. I appreciate when they notify as soon as they know there will be a problem instead of waiting till the rent is several days past due. I also appreciate when they make partial payment of the rent owed. That shows me they aren't blowing off the obligation. If your landlord was willing to apply your security deposit to December rent, you are very fortunate.
I agree that you are lucky that your landlord will use a security deposit and good on you for letting them know right away...
Is there a food pantry in your area? A food bank? Many churches run them this time of year especially...
Friends? Family doesn't sound that helpful to you.... Let's put the marina on the shelf for when you feel better. Do you have any way to see a pdoc or a therapist? A Crisis line in your area? A support group?
A big hug to you((((hugs))))) may something extraordinary happen!
Also, see if Salvation Army can help you. The helped me a lot over the years.
