music has literally saved me more than once, but it is a card that can be played out really fast. i think right now is the perfect time to seek medical/professional help, while you're lucid and calm and rational.
it's kinda' like not fixing the hole in the roof in the absence of rain. you know eventually you're going to get soaked, and life will be a shit-storm, so don't be lazy. get your butt in gear and get that roof fixed.
Also 'weight of my heart, not the size' (lol). I'd say it moreso distracts the beast.
I guess it can be seen as 'whatever works' while in a rational state... I wouldn't have agreed at the time.

Writing's not so much cathartic anymore as it is a time filler. I could ramble on endlessly forevermore. I'm more compulsive about writing down my art ideas than my feelings and 'poetry' WHICH, I have a few more...
The best method though for me lately (and as far as I can tell, everyone else here, I'm talking mostly to you though, rapid-cyclers) is the 'wait it out' method, which is the last thing an impulsive person wants to do, inconveniently. Lol, ain't that a bitch?
