I thought I was dying last night. No exaggeration. I was up watching tv until two and feeling quite find but a little sleepy- as expected. I decided to call it a night and just hit the bed. I got into bed and realized I was feeling a bit chilly so I snuggled under my sheet a bit more. Not even half an hour later I had a fever over a hundred, I was covered in goose pimples, I was shaking uncontrollably and every single inch of my body hurt. I got up to get more covers and change in much warmer clothes and I was knocked to the floor by the chills. At this point I was contemplating calling my mum but decided against it. This is something that used to happen to me as a child and doctors have yet to figure out what it is. It was just too much for me. I broke down and started crying as I lay curled in a tiny ball wearing enough clothes to walk around quite fine on Christ,as eve. Thick cotton pants, thick men's pj top over a tank, heavy socks and three sheets. Despite my attempts, I feel asleep and woke up a number of times. The fever has reduced significantly, as has the pain but it seems I'm going to be demanding more blood tests soon. I need to know what this is.
