Worries...med changes

Hello everyone
I am having my first real depressive episode I tend to have issues with mania...
I talked to doc on Monday and she made several slight changes now I talked to her today and she is switching all my meds...
I am staying on 120 of Latuda but she switched out my Zoloft for Prestique..any one have experience with this med?
Also she took me off lorazepam and prescribed Klonopin
Again anyone taken this?
Sorry just a little freaked out hopefully it won't be too rocky of a transition

Med changes can prove to be beneficial. Hopefully this is the case with you...... Hugs!!!

Well she seems she's switching to an anti depressant and increasing your benzo... Lorazepam is the same type of med just not as strong as Klonopin
The only big change that I can see is to another antidepressant .. I don't think there are a lot of changes sweetie... Big hug for you ...I hope you feel better soon...x

Med changes are always a bit scary.

But trust in your Pdoc to know what will work, and if the new combo doesn't work, try try again !

I understand your pain! I am going through a change too and it is so, so hard. But we have to keep trying and hopefully the good results will be here soon! I don't have experience with Prestique but I am getting away from my lorazepam right now (which I was dependent upon for sleep).

I feel your pain, my pdoc increased one med and added another that I've never been on but heard it makes you a zombie... klonopin worked well for me when I took it.
