im sorry to hear that. its unfortunate that words can do that, i normally have to remind myself, if my bf says something mean, that its not normally him that is saying it, but sometimes it does hurt.

Nicely put. I seem to be on the other side lately, my words are more like ice. I've withdrawn so far from my friends since I've been out of work that I've removed any heat from our friendships.

Yea you can't predict what peoples triggers are thats for sure..
But if you find out you should show that person respect..
Not directed to you chuggs..
Just to people in general..
Maybe you can regain that friendship..
