I am very worried and stressed at this time. My mom is having medical issues and the doctors do not know what is going on with her. My husband keeps telling I just need to be happy. I know I need to be happy but what is wrong with being stressed and worried when something is happening in your life? Am I wrong to feel how I feel? My husband seems to want me to be happy and go lucky all the time. Sometimes things happen and it makes it impossible to be happy go lucky.. I am so frustrated.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Do the best you can and maybe your hubby will develop some compassion and understanding.
truth is, whether you are bipolar or not, life can still suck. And it can be great too. Usually it's a mixture of both. Right now is not a good time for you. He should understand that.
With what is going on with your mom, and the not knowing how she is going to be...well...that would be a stressor for anyone.
Sit down with your husband and really let him know , this is a reality based fear, not something that your BP brain is making up

I guess the thing is not to let the worry immobolize you. It's about coping....
However, how well can you cope with something like that? I don't know.
I hope your husband comes around. Life can suck, whether you're bipolar or not (as someone else said). But if the worry is consuming you, it can be a problem.
I hope your mom is alright! I will say a prayer for you, your husband, and your mom.
Take care of you...
Hope your mom is ok... sending hugs of support and prayer
To play devils' advocate I think sometime when people always take the 'don't worry be happy' way it's their own way of coping...
If it's someone that we're close to and if your husband is a caring guy he's probably trying to find a way to make everything okay even when it's not within his control and it can hard to take when you want someone to lean on....x
It's natural you would be concerned about your mom. However, stress can harm you physically. Headaches, high blood pressure, digestive problems...
Prayer and meditation help me. If something is out of my control, I turn it over to God. Sometimes the realization that I have no control at all over a situation is calming - makes it possible to let go of the worry.
You and your mom will be in my thoughts and prayers.
