I dunno, maybe they're jealous.

i walk around humming and singing to myself al the time. now i walk around singing randomly to my 12 day old baby girl. ill sing twinkle twinkle little star lound enough people can hear, to settle my girl, and not give two shits what those around me think lol

I sing out loud all the time.

Or I hum and enjoy myself.

My sister hates it when I do it at home.

Yes, sometimes I get and odd look here and there, but heck I like it { singing that is }

Maybe I get strange looks because I have an AWFUL voice !

I think most people like to see others happy and singing don't they??...Perhaps at certain times it can be distracting.....

I like to see people joyful... It lifts my spirits...x

I used to get in trouble with my friends in college when the public singing got too loud. Often accompanied by dancing. I never cared about drawing attention to myself back then, whereas now I would never do that.

Generally I enjoy people singing (regardless of their voices, DD!!!) except when people yodel along to their iPods at the gym and interrupt my zen.

Lol. Normals. Well I'm totally bipolar and I think it's weird when somebody is singing I public. I immediately think they are crazy.

I don't know. I love to sing to the radio. But am embarrassed to sing in public. I don't sing very well.

I often sing in the physic hospitals when I'm hospitalized not many like there either. I also have a horrible curse when I hear Sweet Transvestite - Rocky Horror Picture Show. I have to bust out loudly in song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bc80tFJpTuo

Well it lucky that the US has the largest number of bipolar.. so sing your heart out. There nothing wrong w it if it makes u happy.

I think people here in Sweden get somewhat angry because they're jealous "If I suffer from this horrid weather then everyone else should be suffering too, NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO BE HAPPY LIKE THIS"...
Or they think you're crazy over here (because no one is allowed to stick out, oh no!).
Or they just want to shut me up because my singing voice is horrible (my dad kindly thought it sounded like a cat with an upset tummy...)!!
But hey, that's just me...

My way- I pod in your ears, sunglasses on, even when cloudy. With my shortsightness I couldn't even see people staring at me. And I can't hear- cos I'm singing along.

My grandmother lived to 96 and she hummed all the time , it was very comforting .
