I'm really frustrated because apparently my brain thought now would be a really good time to be hypomanic. So now I can't sleep and I have to get up in two and a half hours to go work black friday. Great. Maybe my episode will last long enough that I won't be tired during work but I kind of doubt that. Its hard not to be tired on essentially no sleep. I honestly don't even know if I'm going to be able to get to sleep before I have to get up. Gahhhhh. I don't know what to do. I've been an insomniac my whole life. I tried 9 different meds and this summer I finally found one that worked....too bad its a depression medication that makes my hypomania worse. super. I had to go off it and now its back to not sleeping. fuck.

I was recently on Ambien which we can't afford anymore. I went through some troubles recently realizing I was taking too many sleeping aides. Now I try to go as natural as possible.
One friend told of running one experience over in your mind. His was an awesome skiing experience. For me I concentrate on one of my favorite religious songs that always comforts me. The key thing is focusing on one experience or thing. I've been very luck with this technique.
