do you know what you want to do?

is it help with a business plan you need?

do you have the finances in place? and believe me like all things the chances are very high that it will cost more than you've budgeted for

have you researched well enough? checked out the local competition for prices. etc?

are you targeting the right market for price, range, quality etc?

make sure you have a great tax man

try not to do too much on credit....places are going out of business overnight make sure a company doesn't owe you money for too long
