When Life Goes Bi-polar

I have one adult son who is planning his wedding.
Another adult son is breaking up with yet another GF.

So far my "ears open mouth shut" mantra has served to let me do calming exercises as the two - individually - cycle me vicariously through the extremes of love's embrace.

I'm losing it, though. Talk about your rapid cycling! Both are private about their ramblings on the subject. Neither knows when the other has just finished bending my ear. I feel like a yo-yo.

Any suggestions?

I don't have children. I can't immagine a mother being able to disconnect when her children are in pain or going through stress good or bad. All I can offer as a person with bipolar though is keep doing what you are. Relaxation, get yourself on a strict sleep, eat, med and excercise schedule. More or less do what you have to do to keep from geting to out of sync with your moods.

If you aren't feeling well right now I'd just let them know that you want to be there with support but you aren't feeling well right now..

I also agree with SD .. can you tune them out?...

Young people are in love and out of it so often and it's always intense..xo

I hope you're feeling better soon..x

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
