Hey guys!! How are yas? What are you up to? Not much here. Just sitting around right now. Waiting on Jim to get home from work so we can go visit our friends. She has some pain meds for me. They will last a few days. Then Jim goes to the dentist on the 8th and that will give me pain meds for a few more days. Then I go for that appointment to get pain meds on the 16th. So I have several more days of hurting without pain meds and then I should be hooked up. SIGH. Doctors are so lame sometimes. Scared of the people who go around and doctor shop for pills and won't write anything for legitimate pain patients either. Anywho, rant over. I hope you are all having a great weekend. If not, I am sending some good lovin your way in hopes that you feel better soon.

Just got back from my little sister and her husband's house. He has a 13 year old daughter from a previous marriage and she's incredibly smart. We started discussing the supernatural and vampires. She's really into vampires and then she brought up serial killers. So we were talking about that. Her dad was sitting there the whole time and I kept expecting him to interject with some kind of ban on the discussion but he didn't. It was fun. I also discovered my bro-in-law is one who doesn't "get it" when it comes to Bipolar Disorder. Good day today.

ps - chelle, I know EXACTLY how you feel about people who doctor shop for pain meds and the people like us who have true pain have to suffer the consequences sometimes.

I'm sorry you're in pain. ((hugs))

They call them "pill mills" here in Texas. Now they're cracking down. Basically anyone can rent a space, get some chairs, have pre-signed prescriptions and they don't even need a doc around. I think it's good they're cracking down. I know about doctor shoppers. In Family Practice we had a woman come in and my boss could that's what she was doing. He didn't give her what she asked for and she never came back. Plus, someone once stole his Rx pad and was trying to get Vicodin and other drugs like that. The red flag is you need the doctor's DEA number. This person didn't have my boss's.

I hope you get some relief chelle. I'm in pain too the last two days. I'm going to our city's pool and Jacuzzi because I finally got most of my house chores done.

Thanks for the thoughts, Linas. If I lived close to a dozen or other people, I would have it made. Maybe I could just house hop!! LOL. Go from one place to another. LIke a pill nomad!!

chelle your so funny, you would need to definitely house hop to my house, not only do I have the pain meds from my surgery I also have my medical marijuana which helps a lot also. lol

I am just on DS and a couple of other sites checking stuff out and checking my e-mail. I took Spike for a long walk earlier and got the mail, and thats the only time I've been out of the house today.

I am so boringggggggggggg....................
