I know it isn't the most healthiest way to deal with it, but it takes a lot to get me that mad any more. Good Luck!! I know exactly how you feel.
I'm getting to old to keep feeling this way got to get to the route of this problem!!
Glad it helps you!! And thanks for your response.....ox
When I was much younger my mom would go out to the woods by our house and throw glasses at a tree - it seemed to work.
I dont have that much energy so I just sit right here and scream - sometimes for 10 minutes if thats what it takes. I live alone so it doesnt much matter. I also slam the cupboard doors
Ever since my divorce I've used running to get out my angry energy. Or I should say... it is what I found that works for me. I don't always do it as I should... I've been known to hit myself in rages.. but when I do think of running it really does help me. I lose that explosive energy.
Sometimes it makes me feel more energized, but the energy converts from explosive rage, into something more positive. I also listen to music as I run. Here's my suggestions:
Korn
Metalica
Coheed and Cambria
Devildriver
Limp Bizkit
Slayer
Whtie Zombies (More Human Than Human)
Ugly Kid Joe I Hate Everything About You
Hope It Gives You Hell (can't remember who)
Or I listen to electro/rave music. I also like P!nk when I'm mad.
I have not gone through so much rage as lately, and I See my buttons can still be pushed when I am backed into a corner and triggered, but there was a recent post that got me Thinking about why I still "do" certain things, and "don't" do other things any more.
I think I'll post about it...good luck to you. :/
