Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I forgive people because they did know any better.
I forgive because I want to put them out my mind.My mother was wicked abusive.
sometimes I feel sorry for her.
Letting go of anger and forgiving allows you to move forward. We wont forget, just forgive. Some people feel that if they forgive they release the offending person from guilt. That is not true. What we actually do is release their control over us. By holding on to the offense, we allow others to have control over us in so many ways.
Anger destroys me and after having learned the importance of forgiveness and the art of doing it, I am a much better person for it.
Hope you can work through your struggles sweetie. Hugs
i'm condemning that person to death.
and even if he will kneel down and beg,
ill just walk away
leave him when he needs you the most
i dont wanna be scared
Spiritually, forgiveness gives us the power over our emotions. I like to think about it this way, if someone has done something wrong to me, I try to picture them as a baby. Born innocent. Then raised to be what they are now. It\'s almost fate.
All situations are presented to us to learn some kind of lesson. Maybe your lesson is to let go of anger and try to find peace of mind concerning this situation.
Here are some lyrics I really like. Believe it or not, these are from a Beastie Boys song.
"I Give Thanks For This World As A Place To Learn
And For This Human Body That I Know I\'ve Earned
And My Deepest Thanks To All Sentient Beings
For Without Them There Would Be No Place To Learn What I\'m Seeing
There\'s Nothing Here That\'s Not Been Said Before
But I Put It Down Now So I\'ll Be Sure
To Solidify My Own Views And I\'ll Be Glad If It Helps
Anyone Else Out Too
If Others Disrespect Me Or Give Me Flack
I\'ll Stop And Think Before I React
Knowing That They\'re Going Through Insecure Stages
I\'ll Take The Opportunity To Exercise Patience
I\'ll See It As A Chance To Help The Other Person
Nip It In The Bud Before It Can Worsen
A Change For Me To Be Strong And Sure"
My hope is that you will find forgiveness of yourself as well.
