The better get your ass to the doc type? lol I have no idea

I'm not a doctor so I can't make that kind of diagnosis. If it were me, the best bet is to go and get an evaluation done instead of playing guessing games. You can't get a proper diagnosis of what's the matter until you see a professional. Mental and emotional illnesses are nothing to ply around with. If you think you have some symptoms, then go find out for real. It's the only way to get a true answer. we can guess with you or even say possibly, but that wouldn't be the right thing for us to do to help you.

SORRY, I GUESS I SHOULD HAVE EXPLAINED MORE.

I WENT TO THE DOC A FEW YEARS AGO AND I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH BIPOLER.(I FORGOT WHAT TYPE) I TOOK THE DIFFERENT DRUGS FOR A YEAR OR SO, AND I JUST DIDN'T LIKE THE WAY THEY MADE ME FEEL, SO I CHUCKED THE DRUGS AND DEPENDED ON MY FAITH. I'M COMPLETELY NORMAL NOW, BUT SOMETIMES I AM A LITTLE ON THE MANIC SIDE, SO I JUST WONDERED IF THERE WAS A CATEGORY FOR OCCASIONAL MANIA WITHOUT THE DEPRESSION?

You know, for all of my life until recently, I thought the ups and downs I was experiencing were the same thing that everyone felt and I guess in some exagerated since it is. I went to my general practioner and they tried an antidepressent but to no avail.I thought that maybe it was migraines or to much stress or etc.. Finally in August everything spun out of control and at the worst possible time. I guess what I am trying to say in a long version is if you think that you may have bipolar then you are a step ahead b/c it can be difficult to diagnose. Get help b/f you spin out of control.Let your Dr. give you the specifics.

well you could be a little manic who knows, you seem a bit agitated. but that could be a symptom of a lot of stuff. just go to the doc, keep notes of your symptoms from now til you go tho.

i have heard that some people go into bp remission that can last years at a time. i'm not sure there is a certain type associated with it, but i have heard that it can be v. dangerous for people who go into remission not to take their meds because they never know when another episode will emerge and to what intensity...

on the other hand...it's probably hard to convince someone who doesn't think they have any symptoms to continue taking drugs for no apparent reason...

if it were me, i would find a pdoc and work on having a crisis management plan...like having some heavy meds that aren't expired around in a safe place 'just in case'...

anyway, don't take this advice as 'real' b/c i'm just a reg'lr person and not a pdoc!!

It's really not that simple. It sometimes takes years to find the right medication. I would go back to your pdoc and tell him how the last meds were making you feel. It can only get worse if you don't maintain appts with your pdoc. Bipolar is not a cookie cut disorder.

a couple of my relatives only get manic, really...are BP1...you should talk to a pdoc & get yr info there...and be on meds.

question is bro, caps lock on and all.... lol.... is that do you think you are BP?

And if you do, or if it intereferes with life in general, you should talk to someone more qualified than us.....
