If you only had a short time left on earth what memories would you want to leave with those you love? What sort of things would you want them to know?

I'm going in for cancer screening on the 24th and have been thinking a lot about the meaning of my life. Who I care about and what they mean to me.

I care so much about my family and my mate and want them to know how much it hurts me when they lie to me. I think lying is harmful, disrespectful, abusive and it literally makes me feel sick inside when I find out. I've lied in the past and it has made me feel ill. Lingering guilt appears in many forms and it festers crumbling every good thing in it's path. Right now I'm clear of guilt. I haven't lied about anything that I have not already confessed to. So I feel good about myself.

I want those I leave behind to remember my good heart.

humor/ laughter is in my opinion the best of all memories of my mom and brother. Nothing like having a random memory triggered that all of a sudden brings a smile and possibly rolling on the floor laughter.

People will remember you for your good heart. It's more important than anything else in the world. I struggled with the same question and that was the answer I came up with.

I've thought about that. I think the best thing people could say about me is that I did my best. And I think that sometimes a lie is the best thing you can tell someone.

I'd want people to remember my love for them. I would never want anyone I loved wondering how I truly felt for them.

I want them to know that I strived daily to live by the fruit:
which is:
Righteousness, Forgiveness, Peace, Joy, Love, Goodness, Kindness, Patience, Meekness, Gentleness, Humility, and Self-Control.
..well... since August 31, 2001, at 3:15pm... anyway.

I've had cancer...the waiting to hear the news is awful the waiting for years to see if it's coming back...you start considering what your life has meant..what have you do to contribute to the world in a positive way.

I'm ok now...and have tried ever since to acknowledge that life is short,and our job is to spread kindness with actions and words to as many people as we can

I guess I would like to be remembered for being a good Mom, and loving devoted wife and good friend.

I did make mistakes I hope that those are forgotten.
