I have an addictive personality. It's a flaw I'm willing to live with.

This group has taught me a lot, and rekindled some spark, though sometimes the winds can blow cold and even cruel.

Still, always enough friendlies to seek shelter and comfort. Besides this group keeps me out of trouble. Idle hands...they say.

Just returned so can't answer for the past couple of yrs. Will say that I found this place to be an asset. It has it's ups and downs, but hey....don't we all.

I like it. It's nice to have support and I have met some great friends here that I care about immensely.

I met my best friend on ds (autism board) and she means so much to me and has helped me out of some serious situations.

I like it or I wouldn't be here. I've met such wonderful people on DS I wouldn't trade it.

I've found , you et out of Ds what you put into it.

If you are supportive and helpful, and kind, usually that;s what you get in return.

Some bad apples have shown up over the years, but for the most part, this is a wonderful place.

Many times I have been in crisis , and found loving support with my friends here on DS

I rely on it as my only social outlet

I like it here. I feel like it's a safe place for me to go when things are bad. Nothing like logging on and seeing you have gotten a hug. Makes me feel not so alone.

I really like DS. I got badly burned only once by a scammer, but I learned my lesson.

I agree with dancingd, you get what you give for the most part. I have found some great friends here, some of which I would love to meet in person one day.

It really helped me in my early days when I was struggling, but I have been well lately and not needing the group so much.

But I try to pay it forward with my experience.

I have been reading posts for a very long time in this group but i have never really posted much..... mostly due to my own anxieties about posting but i am getting over that and really want to be more active in groups here on DS..... this seems like a very supportive group with really good people :)
