Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
One day, I realized - they Know what depression is, and how it looks on me. I imagine, explaining it over and over, is wanting "Understanding", and that is a natural human emotion - but I was being very selfish, always talking about my moods, what triggers me and Sorry.... I decided to TRY and quit explain my brain issues, and try more to UNDERSTAND how difficult it is to be my friend, how frustration my unstable, unreliable, canceling, stuck, unmotivated actions were to them...
Really, how hard it is to want to help someone and Can't - so, when pissed at friends, I take a deep breath and try and understand their frustrations, and that they are doing their best too!!!!!!
Now, I love my friend and let them know how I'm doing - but if I want to talk about depression for 30 minutes, I come on here or pick up the phone and talk with another person in a support setting and give my friends a break - while getting more support from my peers....
Well, that's my story - LOL and I"m sticking to it : )
