now that that pesky IQ thread is dead and there s no chance that i will add my pitiful score i can go back and chart everyones IQ score and get an average for the group. then ill compare to my IQ and see if im smarter or dumber than the group. should probably do a curve and see where i fall. maybe talking to u smart people will rub off on me. i doubt i could b more nuts so i think im safe there. thread is dead reminds me of a song

I thought it was Freddie's Dead...when I was in high school I didn't have the highest IQ but I was the valedictorian. A lot of real smart people have no common sense and that keeps weeding them out of the gene pool.

i dont ever remember being told what it was. i was in the smart classes. for what thats worth. i think working to your potential is the goal. find something u like to do, r good at, makes u happy and b the best u u can b

oy, late to this discussion, but the nerdy do procreate, and - at least in silicone valley - it results in a high incidence of asbergers.

I know both my parents were both nerdy and smart. Alas, I am only bipolar and not autistic or genius in any way (well, high IQ but that's subjective)

This thread will probably be closed but there are those of us who take offense to both the "nerd" reference and the "jock" reference. That would be me. I'm was both a nerd and a jock which makes me a "nock"! LOL!!

I have no idea why this thread would be closed and I'm still scratching my head as to why the other thread was closed. Yes I know the reason was given that it was an old thread but what was the harm in that?

Only a slight complaint and then a bit of reminiscing over past members and past identities and some further on topic posts. Does it have something to do with bandwidth?

I'm so confused here. Prolly 'cause my IQ is somewhere in the normal range. Sure hope I don't get "closed" 'cause I'm starting to feel pretty old these days.

This entry likely says something about my EQ too. Interpret as you will...that's what I do.

Yea. I was plagued by the IQ thing for many years until the siblings--my idols began to crack.

Others humanity will reveal itself to you and when it does, the IQ will "matter" less.

I could give examples of siblings, but someone on here would get all wierd and think that I meant them. But you get my meaning.
