June is a busy birthday month in my family. June 9th is my moms b-day, June 16th is my dads and the 24th is mine. To keep things simple we pick a random day when the whole family is available and celebrate all three together. This year we did so a few days ago. Nothing fancy, dinner, a cake and small gift exchanges.
One of my gifts had me cracking up, hence sparking this post....
What is the weirdest gift you've ever been given? Or the weirdest gift you've ever seen given to someone?
Btw, the gift I got this year wasn't the weirdest thing I've ever gotten. That honor goes to a replica puppet from the tv show Angel given to me years ago by an ex. I didn't think it was weird, I love it, but it's certainly raised some eyebrows.
The strangest gift I've ever seen given to another person (and thank god it wasn't given to me!!) was a opossum fetus in amber given to a friend as a necklace pendant!

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
I can't really think of a strange gift except portrait photos of themselves, and that's not really odd at all.
A big green Gumby radio and a baggie of 'shrooms.

I really don't know about giving the weird gifts. I usually try and get what others want and so far they seem pretty regular.
A boy george doll, snowball maker, dna paintings (what kind of dna are we talking?) and a baggie full of shrooms... those are definitely different :)
I would've loved getting a scrying mirror. Great conversational piece for sure!
And a stocking full of underwear and makeup? I would've been thrilled! That stuff is expensive!!
I don't think I've ever given any weird or unusual gifts to someone, unless you count swords, fighting staffs and throwing knives... My ex had a thing for weaponry, but he knew how to use them safely, so I indulged him. Was half tempted to keep some of the nicer ones for myself!
On man, theatrediva it's a good thing we're not related or we'd all be broke as hell by the end of June :)
