I've experienced this several times in the recent past and I can remember experiencing it for as long as I can remember, off and on. It seems to have gotten more frequent and/or more disturbing. But does anyone else experience yelling or screaming when they're in the shower? Its accompanied by this urgent feeling, like fear, but also a numbness, like I know it isnt real so theres no need to react to it, but I hurry through my shower and shake afterwards. I only hear it when in the shower, I'm not sure if it's only during mood episodes or not. Is it something alot of people hear sometimes, like a reaction in your ear/brain from the sound of running water hissing out of the shower head or is it something related to bipolar and psychosis? I'm currently teetering back and forth with a mixed episode and recently had my first experience with hearing voices. Is this the same thing or different?
