every month i have to go to the pharmacy to get the amount it will cost for my meds that i need for the month..
then i have to take it over to rehab. they write a voucher to take back to the pharmacy to pick up my meds... which is crazy itself..
i got this months supply of lamictal and others. i have enough of the others but ran out last night of lamictal(of course on the weekend).
i called the pharmacy and they tell me that she only paid for half a month....why do you think she would ever do that?? she keeps them all at the same time to refill so she doesn't have to refill twice a month.
he couldn't understand that she has me do all this running around to get a months worth and pays for it with the voucher.
now i have to go back to her on monday and ask her what happened.. i know she is right because i took the paper to the pharmacy...
i am caught in a catch 22 and don't like to leave the house.. now i have to run around again because they made a mistake...what would you do???
if i don't follow my medication plan and my counseling sessions she will stop my chance of going to school.
i am begining to wonder if i can even handle to leave the house to go to school... going crazy over this (oh, i forgot i am labeled as being crazy)haha

If this small snafu (situation normal, all "fouled" up)is going to be a big problem for you, you might want to rethink going to school. This happens all the time. how many classes are you planning on taking? Can you take online classes?

thanks for the snafu that was great... i am required to go to my counseling appointment and take my meds to go to school.. i can't deal with these run arounds..i can't fill out a form, but was told that i could have a note taker, tutor etc. i would have to go 5 days a week for 3 hours.. i will have to see if i can take online classes.. why can't they understand that all this stuff is comlicated and frustrating.. my brother has to fill out papers for me and he lives in nevada.. i either have to have the person wanting the form filled out to send it to him. or i copy it with my other sons help. i then email it to him, he fills it out mails it back to me with a highlighted section to sign. and to mail it. no one knew about this and it has been a whole life of it and i have no clue of how i made it this far.. i really want to go to school and be someone that wants to be able survive on their own..

I agree w/starfish. I thought I had to go to schookl to prove I was going to be somebody and I could do it. I believe it has to be what you really want to do for yourself-and nodbody else. You are not labeled crazy in my eyes. First stop using that word to hurt yourself. Love what is and try to see if you can do something different,keep truckin. Love and prayers always.

I think it is possible to succeed in school, but I agree you must be on your meds. I believe this because I lived it.
I dropped out of college twice, related to BP. I went back a third time, well medicated & now am an RN.

Have you checked into a PAP program?
SOme drug companies will provide meds free, but there's alot of paperwork. If there is any kind of Free Health Clinic in your area, they may be able to help you. I know I've also seen commercials for PAP programs. Maybe you could find this info online.
