I finally saw a doctor that isn't funded by the state! She was so kind and understanding! I told her I was on Xanax and it wasn't working that well. She said she hates rxing Xanax and that if there was something else that worked for me, so she put me on Valium. She also upped my zoloft from 100mg to 200mg.
Let just say it's been working miracles! I haven't felt this happy and calm in YEARS! Maybe, ever.
10mg Valium 3 times a day. Sometimes I score them, but I mostly take the whole pill. It makes me pretty tired, but I no longer feel as if my heart is going to explode just walking out my front door! I can talk to people again, I can smile, I can go to sleep without laying there for hours. I forgot what a good quality of life was.
I was really worried, with college starting on Tuesday, that I wouldn't be able to handle it with my anxiety and depression... I no longer have that fear.
Also, my dad is loaded but he refuses to pay for me to get internet for school. I have an online class that I will need the net for every day. My mom doesn't have the money. BUT My aunt who isn't loaded, and really doesn't have the money, stepped up to the plate. I will have internet at home in two weeks. I am so relieved. I was SO SO SO stressed about it. So, that's why I haven't been able to get online.

My experience with Valium is limited. I was RXed Valium when I was in my 20's and MD thought I was Post Partum depressed ....Valium , kinda shot me into my first full blown manic episode. But that is pretty common with BP I patients , who are not on a mood stabilizer also

Don't let other people "convince" you, that your mood is off
