Willow, Fight Club, Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Crash (Cronenberg's), and any vampire or werewolf film ever made - no matter HOW Bad! (The "Dracula" with Frank Langela is a classic!) But for comfort, it would have to be "Willow" - it's a "B" fantasy by Ron Howard but it's heartwarming and just a plain "feel good" film.

Beaches!!! I love Beaches! So far it's the only movie that helps keep the nightmares away.

"Labyrinth"! OMG, has there ever been a cooler movie?

Yes, Exorcist! Fuck! excuse me- I saw that when I was 12- staying at the beach, in the middle of nowhere& walked back in the dark by myself! Aargh!!

Thought Gone, baby, Gone was pretty good too

I like the old ones because of the quality of the dialogue. Give me Bogie playing a tough guy or Carey Grant seducing Eve Marie Saint on a train.

The dialogue in most modern movies is limp by comparison, no snap at all.
