and I too "feel like this is the way I'm supposed to be, like this is normal. " and then realize my target is the middle of my emotional range, rather than the extremes, when I am well.
My meds are fairly stable so I don't adjust them with mood and I am wondering if that needs review again now that you mention it :-)

Don't be too concerned about upping your lithium. It took a single dose and a Tylenol PM the next day (for a nap) to knock out mania in the making. 72 hours to stop mania was an article I found which really helped. There is a post in April with the link.
