So I've been on a downward spiral, several stressors bringing it on. I have insurance to the end of the month but no way able to pay the deductible. Plus I don't want to be put in the database as psycho. I took ambien and klonopin..don't know how many, my husband found me and had to fight me to get the bottles. I dont remember it. I was sick for days. My hb is a nurse so he monitored me and debated whether to take me to the hospital.So I get better and then worse again. Crying and laughing at the same time. Deciding to write a novel, develop a phone app and then getting angry, wanting to break things, took a knife and stabbed an empty drink bottle, thinking dark thoughts, thought of running away, all in one day.
Not sure what to do. I'm obviously in a mixed state possibly rapid cycling and that's a dangerous place to be. I'm afraid I dontvknow where they'd send me what they'd do. I've read the Georgia MH horror stories.
Should I just try to ride this out? I start back to class aug 19. I need it all together I need a job I need it all together. Cant force myself to stay together however.

I remember when I was laughing and crying at the same time. I've done that twice. It is awful.
I went to Peachford Mental Hospital. It was a good place.
Also, many people are raving over Ridgeview Hospital.
Both in GA.
The other times my Pdoc asked if I wanted to go to the Hospital. I said yes. So, I went.
Second thing I wanted to say is that it sounds to me like those are some pretty severe swings and some delusional and/or grandiose type stuff going on, too. I would think some immediate mental/behavioral help is needed so you don't get worse.
Also, just wanted to add to something HeatherCliff said. First time I was in a hospital, I was in for 5 days, and then released, and it was too soon. I really think a couple of weeks is a good idea when in such a bad spot, but only you and your support team in the hospital will be able to figure that out. Guess I'm just saying, if you do go inpatient, try not to rush getting out of there...get the help you need.
Some hospitals I've dealt with, allow me to put a smaller amount down and pay the rest out over the next few months. Some hospitals work out payment arrangements. Wonder if any would do that with you?
