um I've got blurred vision shorly after

Taking my meds. I usually eat so they are less strong but I wasn't hungry and I didn't feel like making anything.

But now I'm worried. They started deprakote and for some reason raised it real fast. I think it was a bit too much.

But I'm still being harassed by my last hospital bill. I don't want to call 911 again. They already think I'm crazy for all the times I visit them. but there is no way I can drive.

I'm going to lessen my meds again. But they weren't doing this a week ago and I was taking the same dose. Maybe I was eating more.

But I think it's that time of the month which always makes my meds feel stronger.

Doctors never listen to me though.

You cover a lot of things and I think the easiest thing to do is eat something when you take your meds. It doesn't have to be much, just a few crackers or a piece of fruit or half a chicken. (just kidding about the chicken)

Several meds have blurred vision as a side effect.. Tegretol caused really bad blurring for me..x

I have no info to give you. But I like what Tommy said, eat when you take your meds.

Thank you every one. I ate something as suggested and it took a few moments but the blurred vision is gone.

I've been having side effects but that is the first time it was that bad.

I recently stopped taking another family of tegretol, I can't remember the name of it but it was a bezine family. I was seeing full on double. That was hell but the smells it gave me was way worst.

Maybe it was Oxycarbezine or HydromezpineXYZ. I can barely remember what they were but they were in the older family of meds.

Glad things cleared up for you. Losing vision is very scary.

Do you use a mood chart? I find it very helpful for getting docs to listen to me. They love it too.
