I had a fairly good day last Thursday, minus the extreme and unexplained exhaustion I was feeling. I must admit that I feel some amount of resentment towards my housemate mostly because I think she's been rather inconsiderate this past month. We work the same hours in the same office yet I'm responsible for all kitchen activities. This has been going on for almost a month now. I literally make two to three meals a day- before and after work and do all the dishes. From time to time she implies I'm the reason we arrive late for work when I'm usually the one waiting for her. She went as far as to leave me one morning. I'm already struggling to trust her and keep my paranoid thoughts about her at a minimum but it's so hard. Well enough ranting, on to what happened Thursday. We were walking home and I just felt so far removed from the world, like a cardboard cut out, like I didn't belong. I felt like I was glowing. I thought someone was watching me and I could have sworn I heard whispering and then I looked at her and felt this overwhelming sense of grief. I literally had tears in my eyes because I knew if I went home and I made dinner I was going to poison her. I've had thoughts of hurting her very often but this was different. I was as certain about that as I was that I was going to charge my phone and change my clothes. It was so terrifying. My first thought was to find the clinic or just go somewhere, anywhere but a part of me, the stronger part of me, felt she deserved it and wouldn't let me walk away. I knew I had to find some way to stop myself. I got home and went straight to my room and locked myself in. Eventually the feeling wore off but now I'm scared my subconscious might do something about it or that the feeling might come back and I won't be able to stop myself. Especially since she's still being inconsiderate. I'm kinda scared to tell my doc cos I don't want to be locked away though it might be for the best. Sigh. Broken and conflicted.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Whether it worked before, or the money is reasonable, or the job is convenient... This boat has sailed, its over - its toxic...
You have to get out of there!!! Start looking, planning etc - look at Plan B's for safety, of course tell you pdoc - how can they help you if you don't Tell them What your going through???? Make him/her guess?
We have to take care of ourselves, responsible for are own feelings and happiness...... This situations is past good - whether she's a bitch, or your crazy - makes no difference! Living there, is making you worse - instead of better!
Roommateitisis time to go! LOL It's incurable, once you got it, it just keeps getting worse : )
You may need a med adjustment for awhile or a PRN to help you and getting over to the doc's office is a very good idea that may help you feel more calm in stressful situations.
You should pat yourself on the back for taking good care of yourself in so many ways and having the courage to get ob here and let it all out. Good for you!
Talking might help- but reality, with people, especially LIVING with people - once something bothers you, it just gets worse...
Example - she sucks her teeth, (No idea where that popped up from, but good example)
At first it doesn't bother you, then when it does - it irks you...the longer it irks you, every time she makes that noise, your skin is going to crawl and your going to get worse - grumpy, irked, and just - not going to get better!
That being said - talk to her, and what I learned to do - is Stop doing the cooking and dishes - why should she jump up, if your making sure everything keeps getting done? Control? You want it down right and now? Well, then you lesson in life might be - get used to HER not doing it well, right or on time!
We can't change people - inconsiderate - might be her core personality, or maybe - your just unconsciously keeping score of her = sucking her teeth! The problem - as I said, right or wrong - not a healthy living situation.
But hey - work on it! If you are happy with the place, and think YOU Can change - relax, let go - it could work!!!! But you have to work on your reactions, not her choices : )
PLease talk to your pdoc about this... I think that you'll probably need a med adjustment.... You're having psychosis.... thoughts and even plans of how to rid yourself of this roommate ... There's good help for you sweetie that will probably just take an adjustment in your meds.
I also agree that if you don't want to move then stop doing all that you're doing.... Take care of you.... Cook for yourself and if you want to treat her for dinner the odd time great!
Perhaps you could ask her if she wanted to make a calendar of who cooks what meals if you want to share the chore and if she doesn't I would just take care of your meals and cleanup
Regarding the fear of telling your doc I would tell him the truth as to whether or not you're still having these thoughts....He's working to keep you well iam... Bless you....xo
I suggest having an alternative to negotiating an agreement ready before you try to negotiate one.
All the very best.
