I'm so down!
I went on an overseas trip for a couple weeks and the time change about 9 hours different. When I was there I was fine. At times I thought how could I have ever been ill? When I got home the jet lag has been horrendous. I wanted to go back every couple of years but the torture coming back is too hard. I have a lot of anxiety and depression along with extreme fatigue even though I'm sleeping on schedule.

Traveling takes us not only out of our heads but out of bodies. New location - new thoughts - new feelings - a welcome change from the sickness in our heads. Wish the transition was easier for you. Once the fatigue goes and your back on schedule - im sure you'll feel better.

it's one of the triggers of bipolar, your sleep gets messed up and it creates problems - hopefully things will get back to normal soon

I'm making a six hour trip in April with my brother and sister and I'm very worried about the stress and anxiety I know I'll have. Sorry you had it so rough. Rest up

I have to turn to ambien both traveling to different time zones and returning home, but I don't recommend it for long term. It's taken me months to be able to sleep again without it.
