Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
We happily drove up to the park, got out of the car and I attached the leash to start walking. I gave the leash a slight tug and my cat, Callie, dug her claws into the walking path and sat there. I tugged the leash again, gently telling her to come on. The last time I pulled the leash, she protested with hissing, flipping around the leash and getting tangled in it. I watched in amazement and fear. The more she would try to get out of the leash the more she would get caught in it. She hissed and flipped and batted at objects that weren't there. We drew a few walkers into view of the crazy cat lady and her crazy cat.
Seeing that my efforts of having a nice walk with a cat on a leash had failed, I reluctantly scruffed her to keep from getting butchered by her claws, put her back in the car and we drove away. She didn't have anything to do with me for the rest of the day.
Now, I give her vanilla ice cream as a spoiling tactic.
I really take good care of them. Special food, very clean litter boxes etc. They can't go outside...
My Doxie sleeps with me and is my baby boy.
I think he spoils me...He is so loving all the time. I would feel so alone without him.
seriously though, Marley loves tennis balls and Zoey likes to try to wrestle them out of his mouth. Two for one entertainment :)
Now .... mind you ..... some may scoff at canine couture however, she is very teeny and she gets cold in the winter. In the summer, her little pink skin is partial to sunburn. Her food is teeny-weeny kibble. I think it's expensive but I can't remember. She's still working on her first bag and she's almost 2 years old.
Jake & Toby (the farm dogs -- I have photos up) get to be free all day every day. They have jobs, which many breeds really crave. They get to sleep inside in the winter and they eat home-grown beef and pork.
I swear, if I could, I'd loan out my Lil Precious to those feeling in the dumps. She is just so sweet and loving it's pretty much impossible to feel hopeless around her. Amen.
No, they are actually called Cat holsters, and they look almost like a holster. LOL
